Four single-origin filter coffees from our rotating seasonal range sit alongside four single-origin chocolate bars from Suffolk-based Pump Street Chocolate. Showcasing the impact origin, variety and process have on the final taste and flavour of both, savour and enjoy them one by one or all together.
The Coffees (4 x 125g):
Mekuria, Ethiopia: Potent & evocative, we're tasting guava, lychee & lavender in abundance. Sweet lemon curd flavours & a silky mouthfeel lead to a refreshing finish.
Viejita, Costa Rica: Comforting tones of hazelnut, fig & cocoa are offset by sugary white grape & hints of cranberry. The finish reminds us of Garibaldi biscuits.
Francisco Alvarado, Honduras: A super clean cup with aromas of crystallised ginger, chamomile & lilies. Sweet fruit notes of yellow plums complement delicate herbal tones in the finish.
Muchagara AB, Kenya: A super bright, fruit driven cup, loaded with flavours of passionfruit, physalis & redcurrant. Aromas of lime blossom & guava complement a honeyed sweetness.
The Chocolates (4 x 20g):
Jamaica 75%: Initially rich, a satisfying melt releases hints of sweet, juicy berries and rounds to a serendipitous honeyed rum finish.
Madagascar Milk 58%: A creamy, luxurious whole milk chocolate with notes of caramel and treacle, offering a zesty finish.
Sourdough & Sea Salt 66%: Pump Street Bakery's own sourdough bread and a touch of sea salt add crunch to the smooth, malty flavour of the Ecuadorian chocolate.
Ecuador 85%: Expect a rich aroma and a rounded, nutty character.
